At Oolfa, your safety comes first. We are committed to creating a respectful, trustworthy environment for all members of our Muslim marriage community. If you encounter disrespectful, harmful, or suspicious behavior from another user, we strongly encourage you to report it.

By reporting misconduct, you help maintain a safe space for yourself and others. This article explains what types of behavior should be reported, how to report a member, and what details to include when submitting a report.

What Behavior Should Be Reported?

We take all reports seriously and have a zero-tolerance policy for violating our Terms of Use or Community Guidelines. Please report any member who engages in the following:

  • Harassment or Bullying: Repeated unwanted messages, threats, or offensive language
  • Hate Speech or Discrimination: Content targeting individuals based on religion, race, ethnicity, gender, or background
  • Explicit or Inappropriate Content: Sharing of sexual, pornographic, or otherwise offensive material
  • Fake Profiles or Scams: Impersonation, identity theft, or fraudulent activity
  • Privacy Violations: Sharing someone else’s private information without permission
  • Spam or Misinformation: Repeated promotional messages, phishing attempts, or false claims
  • Threats to Well-being: Any behavior that puts another member’s safety or mental health at risk

How to Report a Member

You can report a member directly from their profile or chat screen.

Option 1: From the Member’s Profile

  1. Go to the member’s profile
  2. Tap the menu icon (⋮ or ☰) in the top corner
  3. Select “Report” from the list of options
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your report

Option 2: From the Chat Screen

  1. Open the chat with the member you want to report
  2. Tap the menu icon in the top-right corner
  3. Choose “Report” from the menu
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to provide details

What to Include in Your Report

To help our team review and respond to your report effectively, please include as much relevant detail as possible, such as:

  • A description of what happened
  • The exact message(s) or content that raised concern
  • Date and time of the incident

🔒 Your report is confidential. We will never share your identity with the reported user.

All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. If the member is found to be violating our Terms of Use or Community Guidelines, actions may include a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent ban.
